Bioenergetic Therapy

Based upon the Alliance’s in-clinic treatment experience involving hundreds of patients, it is now believed that tens of thousands of Chicagoans no longer need to suffer from allergies. Today, with the help of the NAET principles and Cranial-Sacral therapy, Dr. Bain can "tune the body" to accept rather than react against any allergen. This means that reactions such as rashes, headaches, nausea, shortness of breath depression, anxiety, digestive problems, loss oflibido, chronic fatigue and other symptoms commonly seen in allergy sufferers can be eliminated. The diagnosis and treatment program is non-invasive and non-drug oriented. What you will experience are individual clinical sessions each with three phases.

Diagnosis

Each session begins with a check of the body’s degree of balance in relationship to allergens. A question and answer period helps Dr. Bain assess your medical problem symptoms and identify possible allergen causes. The medical assumptions are then verified using "applied kinesiology" which is a test of muscle strength against a specific allergen. Most patients are found to be allergic to more than one allergen.

 Procedure

While you lie on your back on an examination table, Dr. Bain queries the body about a particular allergen. Dr. Bain then asks you to extend your arm holding the bottle in an upright position. You then attempt to hold your arm in a rigid upright position as the doctor pulls itforward. Depending upon the reaction of your arm [the arm resists, (strong) or offer little resistance, (weak)], your reaction to the allergen is established. Screening time is variable depending upon the patient’s condition.

Treatments

While in the supine position, Dr. Bain begins a Bio-Energetic/Cranial-Sacral procedure: this involves applying a light touch to the head with the pads of the fingers in a special holding position. Minute undulating movements are perceived, monitored, and followed. Slowly the body's natural balancing forces become accessed and adjusted to a healthier energetic state. Treatment time is from 20 - 30 minutes depending upon the frequency of applications necessary.

Recovery

After the Bio-energetic/Cranial-Sacral procedure it will be necessary for you to remain in a supine position on the examination table resting. You may experience fatigue or drowsiness immediately after the procedure. This is a normal reaction. The recovery period allows the body to adjust to the new balance achieved during treatment. Recovery time is from fifteen to twenty minutes.

Review

Following the recovery period Dr. Bain will retest your body’s strength against the designated allergen.

This is done using the same applied kinesiology technique as in the screening phase. If more than one allergen has been identified, Dr. Bain will outline a comprehensive treatment plan and have your next appointment scheduled.
